This Privacy Policy explains how Luxedo (“Luxedo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Luxedo platform and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — name, email address, organization, and contact details you provide when signing up or being added to an account.
- Content you upload — media, images, names, logos, rosters, and other material you add to the Service to create and run shows.
- Usage and device data — log data, device and browser information, and analytics about how the Service is used, collected automatically.
- Billing information — handled by our payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- authenticate users and secure accounts;
- process subscriptions and payments;
- communicate with you about the Service and respond to requests; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Content about minors
Luxedo is used by schools and youth organizations, and content uploaded to the Service may concern minors. We act as a processor of that content on behalf of the customer that uploads it.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and the Service is not directed to children for the creation of accounts. If you believe content about a minor has been uploaded without the required consent, contact us at privacy@luxedo.com and we will work with the uploading organization to address it.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- with service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g. hosting, storage, analytics, and payment processing) under appropriate confidentiality obligations;
- within your organization, as permitted by your account configuration;
- when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety; and
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required.
5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed for these purposes.
6. Your rights and data deletion
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Account administrators can submit a data deletion request from Settings → Privacy in the portal, or by emailing privacy@luxedo.com. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function without them.
9. International users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you understand your information may be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
